Founded in 2001, AIDP is one of the first private medical oncology practices
to approach cancer treatment from the patient’s perspective. AIDP combines
Dr. Myers years' of clinical experience with his time spent as a prostate cancer
patient. His experience on both sides of the examination table made him acutely
aware of the many issues facing today’s prostate cancer patients.
Prostate cancer is a variable disease, and the guiding mission of AIDP is to
engineer a treatment based on each patient’s specific criteria that treats
not only the cancer but also a patients’ overall health. Hinged on the
idea that there’s no point in curing a cancer if the patient is in danger
of dying of heart disease a month later, Dr Myers’s team carefully considers
each patient’s case and works in coordination with primary care physicians
along with today’s cutting edge treatment experts to tailor a customized
treatment strategy for each patient.
