The Prostate Forum is a subscription-based monthly newsletter created in 1996 by Dr. Charles Myers, a leader in prostate cancer treatment and research, and his wife, Rose Sgarlat Myers. The purpose of the newsletter is to provide useful, reliable, timely information about prostate cancer and its treatment in easy-to-understand language.

In the spring of 1999, Dr. Myers was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He chose to discuss his experience in the April 1999 issue of the Prostate Forum, which is provided as the sample issue on this site.

Our readers have asked that we develop a book that provides detailed nutritional guidelines accompanied with recipes. During the past year, Rose Sgarlat Myers and her sister, Sara Steck, have developed recipes and meal plans. The recipes are derived from Italian, Mexican, and Japanese cuisines.
